Computer Modeling
Our computer capabilities include advanced computer modeling using
modern, state of the art mathematical software. This software includes
SMAC, SISAME, HVOSM, ATB, Phase IV, CRASH, and Impulse Momentum. Through
the use of these advanced computer modeling tools, a wide variety of
vehicle impacts and maneuvers can be investigated, analyzed, and
reconstructed. These reconstructed motions can then be shown through the
use of computer animation software. All animations are based on motions
calculated through the application of the laws of physics and an analysis
of the physical evidence.
Vehicle Models
Vehicle
modeling can take many forms from simple planar vehicle models to advanced
finite element models. KEVA Engineering has a wide range of engineering
physical models with which to represent vehicles. Depending on the
requirements of the engineering problem under study, our clients can be
assured of our ability to analyze even complex engineering concepts
through state of the art computer vehicle modeling.
SMAC
For
single and multi
vehicle collision dynamics, the Simulation Model of Automobile Collisions
(SMAC) computer program is an extremely valuable tool. This computer
program allows the vehicle dynamics to be analyzed and collision speeds to
be reconstructed based on the objective physical evidence.
